WOYWW 266 - 9.7.14

Morning all.  Hope you are all well and geared up for another desk-fest! Chief cheer-leader Julia has the info here   It was her birthday on Monday, make sure you wish her well!

As promised, I have new stash to share with you from Newbury on Saturday, when I had the pleasure of meeting up with fellow deskers Janet and Mary-Anne again.

I wrote about the show here but am showing the pics again here!

I was at home on Tuesday afternoon waiting for a repair man to fix my hot water  and had time to finish my Darcy journal page (here) but you'll see some of my goodies back on the "desk" waiting somewhere to put them away to!

Have a good Wednesday, and happy desking! I really hope the card's arrived by now, Julia!

  4. Ooo, lovely stash! Those memory box dies are great and I love your stencils! I've got some of those mini blending tools coming too!
It's the handle thingy which has broken, so the little cassette punches are useless without it :(
    Have a good week,

  9. Good morning, I'm doing a quick whizz round all my favourite blogs before I start my mammoth task of clearning some of my sewing mountain today.

  10. I had the Inkadinadoo stamp set with the insects but I melted it with the iron! Thought it would be a good idea to use some angel fibres with it, not by brightest moment. But I did learn something! It is a gorgeous stamp set xx

  12. Glad your long journey to the show was worth it! Julia said that the lack of people and stalls made for a more pleasant browsing experience, so it's an ill wind etc!
I see you managed to still buy some fab things though, lol!!
    Hugs, LLJ 21 xx

  14. LOL! I never did get any of the BOGOF stamps. And this AM I had a real panic when I thought I had thrown out my two new Memory Box stencils! Damn you eco-friendly packaging - if it isn't chunky I'm inclined to lose track of it :) Found them in the end, thank goodness. Lovely to see you, even if it felt like we were in different orbits. High hopes for next year....

    Happy WOYWW!

  15. Well, I didn't even mange the BOGOF stamps - the ones I liked, I already have! It was a small show, but I was pretty pooped after walking around it a couple of times, and have yet to unpack the two stamps I did buy!
Love your Darcy page, it must have been lovely to have the afternoon off and potter at that.

  24. Helen, I always love your new stash! It is just amazing to me to see Balzer Designs stencils in the UK. How cool. Julie Fei-Fan Balzer hosts a show I watch every Saturday called "Scrapbook Soup" and I love her blog and of course I have a few of her stencils. Have fun with your goodies dearest. Happy WOYWW! 25. What lovely new things, Helen. Enjoy using them all - shouldn't worry too much about putting them away - you'll only need them out again...
    Take care. God bless.

  26. Lovely stencils to play with.
Putting them away, right away, is meaningless. You will just get them right back out again. I think it is called wearing the new off of them.....LOL
    Have a great week

  28. What fabulous goodies! Isn't it fun to get so many things at once? I in particular like those stencils, and specifically the circle one. You are going to have so much fun using these new things. I have been playing with all my things, but alas, had to put them away and begin to work on a project! #78
