Keren Baker - new GD at Paperartsy

This week we welcomed Keren to the Paperartsy team - and some fabulous projects she gave us.  The first day was Clean and Simple - and I've adapted one of her ideas from that day.

I used the Dina Wakley heart set , and Eggplant, South Pacific and Limelight Frescos.

I'd forgotten how much fun heat embossing is...

I did start out by attempting one of the paper cutting pieces Keren showed us on another of her days, but my craft knife must be very blunt, as I got some very rough edges to my cutting, so have abandoned that for now!

Entering this to the Paperartsy challenge.

  8. As techniques go, embossing wins hands down on cutting- I really don't like fussy cutting- much more fun and so effective!

  11. What a great effect! Actually, not only does 'Love Rock' - heat embossing does in my opinion! Oh, the joy it brings - second only to Crackle glazing and - for me - shrink plastic! I love those abstraty hearts against those splashes of colour. Gorgeous, Helen! Julie Ann xxx

  12. PS - I meant 'abstracty'! I know that's not a word; but it is more of one than 'abstraty'! Julie Ann xxx
