Craft BArn Q&L - 9. Fame/Unique

Time for another journal page for the Craft Barn Quotes/Lyrics challenge - the prompt is Fame or Unique.  I looked at several... including Andy Warhol's "15 minutes" only to find he actually said  that everyone would be famous for 15 minutes - so that was no good!

I settled for a quote I found by Emily Dickinson, the American Poet. "Fame is a fickle food upon a shifting plate".

I brayered my background using Caramel and Chalk Fresco paints by Paperartsy, but I got so carried away I forgot to take any photos early on
 I stencilled the bullrushes (JoFY for Paperartsy) in Chutney Fresco, bumped and shaded with a little Chartreuse Fresco.

The birds are from a stencil I bought in Paris, used French Roast for them.

I wrote the quote, in Sharpie marker and a Pilot drawing pen, but then went over the quote and thickened the letters a little with the Sharpie.
I outlined the first word with white Sharpie marker.

The grass is a stamp from one of JoFY's Paperartsy sets.
I may continue to fiddle and faff with this a bit more!!

    Great page, love that stencil and looks wonderful in those colours. I thought you might of got your £2.53 whimsical lettering book out and tried some of the techniques on your fab page
