The Dripping and Blobbing page...

Ok, so I've tweaked it and think it can be shared now.... the dripping and blobbing page I referred to in a previous post....

this is the finished page, which I don't mind so much now...
this was the stage it was when I didn't like it!  I thought I had taken some photos of it before it got this far, but I can't find the file I've saved them into....so maybe I didn't!!

The background is Squid Ink, the stencilling is with grunge paste, sanded back. The heart stamps are by Darcy_UK  and the dripping is the Bombay Inks in Magenta and Turquoise.  The white blobs are Snowflake Fresco paint, flicked from an old toothbrush.

I then added two Lonely Girl images I stamped on an old book page, painted with what looks like Eggplant.  The sentiments are the Snazzy blog win and are by Kaisercraft - and I really like how well they stamp for clear stamps!

    Those Indian ink drips look great! I like the idea of using an old toothbrush for applying paint. I must have a go at that one! The texture and experimentation on this is fabulous, Helen! Thanks for sharing! Julie Ann xx

    Really loving the dripping and blobbing (toothbrush for flicking - great tip, thanks!)... and the colours are wonderful. No reason not to like the earlier stage - it just wasn't finished yet! The double image of the woman works brilliantly.
