WOYWW 128? I think we're turning - Asian?

Hi, all welcome along for another mega-ride round the world's strange crafting spaces. (well, mine is!) .. hosted by Julia here.

My workspace today finally shows signs of Christmas - yes, at last! I made a start at the weekend - clambered behind the first row of boxes to get to the Christmas stash - dug out some of my favourites - Christmas = Penny Black here!! It's the only time I do "cute" .....  so my space has out some of the stamps I'll be using this year

and the first few off the run! I got the chance to use the new winter limited edition distress inks - oh, I LOVE that evergreen bough - the 3 trees and the background behind the hedgehogs.  Love it, think it is my fave fave DI...  Trouble is, I haven't done any more since... oops!
And at DragonsDream Tag it On, we are dreaming with an Asian theme this week and the film that inspired my teamie Silvia, is Chinatown.
I nearly ran out of time with this one so it's a very basic one layer tag - used distress stains in scattered straw and bundled sage and the fans are on a Judikins cube stamp.  The Asian script is from a Paperartsy plate.  Found the oval picture in a book of ephemera bits and bobs. Check out the rest when the challenge posts around noon. We enjoyed seeing your romance last week!

    Great stuff on the Chrimbo front and lovely cards - that ink is indeed oh so lovely... I'm still contemplating the big make or supporting a charity! A really great tag and the perfect image for that stamp. Thanks for sharing today, Sarah at 2.

    It's funny how we stroll through different techniques and save some for other times. I do cute when I need to do a lot, your cards are looking great and will be appreciated whereever they go

    I really like those three elegant trees on the stamp - those are the cards I'd go for if they were on sale in a shop. Very smart :)
    Your Chinese tag is lush as well, I'm getting more into Oriental stuff recently. The only fabric I've found tends to be quite garish though, like cheong sam dress fabric...ah well, I'll keep looking!

    I'm a bit late today on my journey round the desks (shopping day - new handbag) but am trying to get round as many as I can.
    Love those distress inks but haven't succumbed to the winter ones yet. Aren't you a good girl doing so many C cards - and it's only November.

    Those are some good looking cards! I love Penny Black at Christmas, okay I love Penny Black full stop lol. I used to eschew all cuteness until I had my Daughter and I found House Mouse stamps. So I love House Mouse and Penny Black, but I'm still Grumpy :D.
