Got some fab cards from Carmen, Lynne (my SIL, who doesn't blog) and Hels. Thanks girls, appreciate them.
Sorry about the photo - they are still on display on the window cill!
Now, I don't have a lot else to show you - except a rather spectacular bruise on my knee - and if you are of a nervous disposition, look away now!
I did this on Friday or Saturday - kneeling on the floor crafting (as normal) I don't really know how it happened - but perhaps I should try and find someway to craft at a table!!
I think I probably leant on the bone reaching for something being too lazy to get up.... who knows!
Pretty, isn't it!
So, after I have put you all off your breakfast/lunch/dinner/tea (delete as appropriate depending on the time of day!) I will let you get back to Julia's to check out some desks where something interesting is going on!! Is anyone going to Artstamps Newbury on Saturday - if so, maybe I'll see you there! I have a little list......
Beautiful cards you have there! Sometimes quiet is the best sort, especially if it's what you choose :D.
ReplyDeleteYou did yourself a beaut there. It might be good to figure out how so you can avoid it in the future lol. Happy WOYWW :D
OOOO that looks SO painful... I would never be able to craft on the floor like you, I salute you!!!

Ouchie...yep, I think it might be time for a change Helen!
ReplyDeletePoor you having a "baddie" as my little grandee calls bruises! It is a baddie and maybe you should use a padded kneeler in future!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at Newbury, you lucky thing!

Oooh, Helen! That looks like a major owee! You need to be more careful hun. I'd also see the doc about it, unless you tend to bruise easily anyway! Yeah, Mr B Snr is an Everton Supporter as is Brother B, but my Mr B, his Ma and our Livvy are all Liverpool supporters..... LOL
ReplyDeleteHi there Helen your comment made me smile.. on my blog that is, not about your poor ole knee and it is nearly teatime here, and you folk are just starting your day over there!! ha funny world.. do love your cards on your sill and the key to successful bruise healing is elevation.. above the heart and also cold compresses of course not fun but good for it alo some Arnica cream if you have any handy!
ReplyDeleteI am an expert in them as am prone to them myself! cortisone does that o you and clumsiness! love Shaz in oz.x
