Welcome Old, Young, Wednesday Wanderers (aka WOYWW!)

Anyone else ever have trouble thinking up post titles?!!   Time to pop over to Lady Julia's for the best blog hop in town! Check it out here .

This week sees some new Wendy Vecchi stamps on my floor. I had them on pre-order from The Stamp Attic and they arrived on Monday.  So far I've inked up a couple but not used them properly.** (if you were around here on Saturday you'll have seen my other new stash for this week!)

I wanted so many of the new release, eventually "allowed myself" to order two sets - but am sure it won't be long before I buy some others (after all, it's Ally Pally in a fortnight....)

**broke off typing this post to play!!  Here's a tag I've made using some of these new stamps.
Tag is coloured with my new fave DI - Tea Dye (see earlier posts this week) and I've used the bubble wrap background (also in tea dye) then made some grungepaper flowers using the two new smaller flowers which match the big one from the  'be inspired - make art' set. I decided as I was going to hide the middle of the flower, to use my 'tiny attacher' (i.e. the Tim stapler) to fix the 3 flower layers together - it may be tiny, but it packs a punch through 3 layers of grungepaper, no problem! I used one of the type charms for the flower centre.

The butterfly is coloured with barn door DI. (the flowers are wild honey and crushed olive)
Not sure when I'll get to visit you all tomorrow, got an early meeting at work and may not have time at lunchtime to start my rounds!! Anyhow, I will get there, sometime.  Sorry I couldn't leave comments on all your blogs last week, I tried - but blogger wasn't having it!  Have a great Wednesday.
(This was meant to schedule for 6.30 but failed....)

Will have to wait until Ally Pally myself to buy some more stamps, spent too much at Craftbarn on friendly plastic stuff because I thought I would have a go. ha ha. Just love your Wendy Vecchi stamps I must admit I have not got them only Paper Artsy ones but will invest when I go to Ally Pally. Have a lovely day, big Hugs JO.xxx

  68. Thanks for stopping by my blog Helen and leaving such a lovely comment.
I’m afraid I have a confession to make….the hand writing isn’t my own; it was done on the computer. My own handwriting is eligible most of the time so I make use of the computer whenever I can.

    Your new stamps look gorgeous.
I’m looking forward to going to Ally Pally on the 25th too and having the chance to buy some new stash.

My Hubby asked me the other day why I thought Barn Door was so called, what do you think. All I could come up with was that maybe barns in the US are red!!!!
